Peppermint Essential Oil

Peppermint Essential Oil has a very refreshing and stimulating aroma, great for cooling down on a hot day. The botanical name of the most commonly used variety for essential oil is mentha pipereta and it is most commonly extracted by steam distillation. The mint aroma is described as reminiscent of peppermint candies, but more concentrated and minty and more robustly fragrant than spearmint.
